Our story

Meet the people behind the practice.

Cricks Chiropractic & Acupuncture is a husband-and-wife practice built around a shared belief: good care begins with listening.

Drs. Alan and Jazzy Crick with their family

As doctors, parents, and practitioners, we understand that health is rarely one-dimensional. Pain, stress, movement, hormones, sleep, emotions and life circumstances are often deeply connected.

Our approaches are different but complementary. Alan brings decades of experience in chiropractic, bodywork and movement. Jazzy combines acupuncture, Chinese medicine, gentle chiropractic and energetic pattern work. Together, we’ve created a clinic where patients can choose between one-on-one individualized support, or more accessible care in a relaxed community setting.

Dr. Alan Crick

Dr. Alan Crick

Chiropractic & bodywork

Alan has worked with the body for more than two decades. His background began in massage therapy, personal training and movement science before expanding into Thai massage and chiropractic care.

After earning his degree in Kinesiology from San Francisco State University, Alan completed his Doctor of Chiropractic at Life Chiropractic College West, followed by additional training in extremity adjusting. His experience allows him to draw from chiropractic adjustments, Thai-inspired bodywork, soft-tissue techniques, movement and hands-on assessment.

Alan’s sessions are thorough, practical and highly individualized. He enjoys working with everything from everyday tension and restricted movement to athletic injuries and complex physical histories. His goal is not simply to adjust an area that hurts, but to understand how the body is moving as a whole and help each person feel stronger, freer and more at home in their body.

Acupuncture & integrative care

Jazzy is a Doctor of Chiropractic, Licensed Acupuncturist and Chinese herbalist whose work is rooted in whole-person, pattern-based care. She combines acupuncture, gentle chiropractic, Chinese medicine and nervous-system support, with a particular interest in women’s health, pregnancy, postpartum recovery, hormonal patterns and family care.

Her approach is gentle, curious and collaborative. She looks beyond isolated symptoms to understand the larger patterns connecting the body, emotions, environment and life experience.

For those interested, Jazzy also integrates Astrology and Human Design into treatments. A focused chart reading can illuminate energetic tendencies, planetary cycles and recurring life patterns that may be relevant to your health.
